Designed to be used with our other ingredient 'Swaps', our Egg Swap adds the perfect amount of moisture and an extra dose of protein to your favorite dessert recipes. It's easier and healthier than cracking an egg, just add hot water!  The Egg Swap contains 50% more protein than an egg, prebiotics for digestive support and zero cholesterol.  Be advised: this healthy egg substitute does not work with normal flour.  For baking success and health benefits, the 4 Sweet Swaps must be used together as a complete system.

1 egg = 1 Egg Swap

Prepare each egg by mixing 2 packed and leveled Tablespoons of Egg Swap into ½ cup hot water until smooth and creamy.


  1. Always use hot water to reconstitute your Egg Swap. The warmth is needed to bind and hydrate the Flour Swaps. 
  2. Designed to be used with our Flour Swaps in traditional baked goods like cookies, cakes and sweet breads, not egg-based dessert recipes like custard, clafoutis, quiche, or flan. You can still make these types of desserts using the Sweet Swaps! Just use our recipe index online.
  3. If a recipe calls for just an egg yolk or egg white, use half an Egg Swap. 1 egg yolk= 1 Tbsp Egg Swap + ¼ cup hot water

So easy!

I am not a baker! But detox desserts has helped me so much with my sugar cravings. I was very intimidated by the egg swap. But I followed the recipes and it is actually so easy! Now I can bake a few batches of detoxed desserts, keep them in the freezer, and enjoy when I’m craving sweets without the guilt. Life changing! Thank you!

I always recommend newbie bakers follow recipes on the website because they have been tested and I'm confident the Swaps will perform well. Remember to use 1/2 cup of hot water to reconstitute the Egg Swap- the heat is needed to properly hydrate and bind the the Flour Swaps.
